QuickBooks Integration
Enable PowerUpThe QuickBooks Integration PowerUp is planned, and will follow the same shape as the Xero Integration PowerUp that is already live. The intent is to let you sync an asset from its item profile into the QuickBooks fixed asset register, sending the details QuickBooks needs to open a fixed asset record, and read the accounting figures back onto the item so the people looking at the physical asset can see what finance has it down as. Scope and field mapping are not final, and this page will be updated when the connector ships. If QuickBooks support would change your decision, tell us and we will factor it into the build order.
The Problem
Keeping asset values aligned across itemit and QuickBooks by hand means duplicated entry and a register that drifts out of step with the accounts.
The Solution
One place to record the physical asset and one path into the accounts, instead of rekeying the same purchase into both.
In Action
A finance team records an £8,500 server rack once in itemit and syncs it to the QuickBooks fixed asset register from the item profile, rather than entering it a second time by hand.
