AI Chatbox
Enable PowerUpThe itemit AI Chatbox lets you interact with any asset using natural language, directly from its Item Profile. The AI understands which asset you're viewing and can generate or improve descriptions, suggest maintenance and care recommendations, locate manuals and documentation, recommend better images, and summarise technical specifications. Crucially, you stay in control: every AI suggestion can be reviewed before you Accept or Revert, so nothing is applied automatically. Access the AI Chatbox from the sparkle icon in the top navigation. It automatically loads the context of the asset you're looking at.
The Problem
Writing asset descriptions, tracking down manuals, and keeping documentation consistent across hundreds of items is tedious and time-consuming.
The Solution
Ask the AI to improve descriptions, find manuals, suggest maintenance ideas, or summarise specs for any asset, then Accept or Revert every suggestion before it's applied.
In Action
A warehouse operative opens a defibrillator's profile, taps the AI sparkle icon, and asks 'find the maintenance manual for this model'. The AI locates the PDF and suggests attaching it to the asset record.
